De-Addiction Awareness Program

During the financial year 2024–25, Zenial Urban and Rural Development Society organized De-Addiction Awareness Programs in rural and semi-urban areas of Mirzapur districts. The program aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco and substance abuse among youth and families. Awareness meetings, counselling sessions and community interactions were conducted with the support of local volunteers. Through this program, approximately 220 beneficiaries were directly benefited and motivated towards a healthy and addiction-free lifestyle.

Women Awareness Program

Women Awareness Programs were conducted in urban slum and rural areas of Mirzapur district. The program aimed to educate women about health, education, legal rights and social security. Group discussions, counseling sessions and awareness meetings were organized with the participation of local women. Through this program, nearly 350 women beneficiaries were directly benefited.

Skill Development for Women

Skill Development Programs for women were organized in Mirzapur district to promote self-employment and income generation. Training was provided in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts and small business activities. After training, toolkits and guidance were provided to beneficiaries. Around 260 women beneficiaries were trained under this program.

ZUARDS has provided to 260 women of different group of City Block of Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The trade of training was Garment Designing, Beautician, Tailoring, Food Processing, and Computer Training. ZUARDS volunteers and community leaders has turned goodtraining with Master Training of Trainers on different trainer and ensured delievery of quality training for participants.

Health Checkup Camp for Senior Citizen & Women

Health Checkup Camps were organized in rural and urban areas of Mirzapur district for women and senior citizens. Free medical consultation, basic health tests and medicines were provided. The camps helped in early detection of health issues and spreading health awareness. About 260 beneficiaries benefited from these camps.

Welfare Program for Old Age

The Welfare Program for Old Age was implemented in urban and rural areas of Mirzapur district. The program aimed to support senior citizens through health awareness, counseling and basic relief assistance. Interaction sessions were organized to understand their needs and challenges. Around 170 senior citizens benefited from this initiative.

SHG Training Program

SHG Training Programs were conducted for existing Self Help Groups in Mirzapur and Chandauli districts. The training focused on financial literacy, bookkeeping, leadership development and bank linkage. These trainings helped strengthen SHG functioning and sustainability. Approximately 200 women beneficiaries received training support.
